My poor camera is getting neglected.

I am seriously considering doing another 365day type project.  Not all self portraits this time (though some might be), but just trying to take some photos every day.

This also means that I really want to replace the kit lens that came with the camera.  Its limitations bug me.

My friend is doing a 365 project on facebook - every day she takes a picture of something meaningful or that happened to her during the day. She's got some very cute portraits, as well as pictures of the sky that were particularly breathtaking, pictures of others climbing up mountains or hiking... etc. Whatever happened during the day.

That's exactly the kind of thing that I'm thinking of doing. I've done the 365 self portraits and found that rewarding, but I'd like to do something new now.
