Day 11 – A book that disappointed you

This meme is making it seem like I only read a handful of authors.  I really do read more widely, honest!

I hate using this as an answer to this, because I am a huge fan of Anne Bishop – I adore her Black Jewels books.  I’ve looked forward to everything she’d written, but nothing has grabbed me as much as the Black Jewels series.

Sebastian was a particular disappointment for me.  There were a lot of interesting things in it, both plotwise and characterwise, but it didn’t ever gel into a coherent whole.
