Words on Daemon: 2,584

I’ve committed a writing sin. Yes, I was about 50k into a draft of Daemon. And yes, I’ve scrapped the lot of it and begun again. I was just feeling around in the dark previously, but now I have a firm plan of what’s going to happen.

Different starting point that meshes better with Shaede as well as the delay of certain plotlines until later in the book (or alternatively, the third book).

For the first day back generating words, it went remarkably well. The writing groove was easy to find and easy to stay in. May all writing days on this draft be as easy.
