Soundtrack: Silence for the first hour of working – one of those days when my brain needed quiet to focus properly. Once I was set into the swing of things, The X Files episodes Folie a Deux and The End. After that, a bit of H.I.M.

I’d planned on scaling back the daily target to 2,000 words. I’m writing slower and more carefully, wanting to get everything right (as well as keeping track of everything carefully). Somehow I ended up with 3,000 words anyway today. Go figure.
