Still reworking a few earlier chapters, so I’m not doing much to advance the actual word count. This chapter is actually getting a bit long now, so I think I’ll have to split it.
The writing came easier today. As always when things are somewhat difficult, I worked in silence for most of the time. Ended up putting on a DVD (the miniseries version of The Stand) while I finished up the scene. I actually felt like I could have kept going today, but I’m trying firmly to stop myself from writing for the sake of a word count. Much better to actually get a decent number of good words than a lot of crappy work that’s going to be scrapped.
