Updates

I updated to the new version of Wordpress, with thankfully few problems.  So far, anyway - if you see anything broken, please let me know.

I still want to play around some more with things, including possibly installing a new theme.  I’ve found a few public ones that I almost like, but they all have issues.  For now, the theme shall remain the same.  Until I find something else that I like, anyway.

Time to go and rest.  My joints are screaming at me, and my fatigue levels are high.  Stupid human suit.

Apologies for all the test posts

Still playing around with Wordpress. I was supposed to go out tonight, but the human suit had other ideas. Instead I am ensconced on the couch with the laptop, playing around with Wordpress and Flickr. Angels in America is playing in the background.

Things I have discovered - using the Livejournal crossposter plugin on Wordpress works fine, though I had one post go a bit wonky (I think that was because I updated Wordpress, though). Deleting a post at Wordpress deleted it at LJ as well, which I wasn’t expecting.

I finally tracked down a client for Wordpress as well - BlogDesk. Nice and simple, and it does everything that I need it to. Now I have no excuses.

For the record, I’m not moving over to the Wordpress blog because of the recent issues with Livejournal, but just to streamline the way I do things. I have a permanent account at LJ, and as long as that account exists, I’ll be there. I will be reading my friends list and replying to comments there. For those who are subscribed to the syndicated feed at LJ, you might want to drop that from your friends list, unless you don’t mind seeing double posts.
