I managed to write over two thousand words every day this week. I hope to keep this pace up to get this damn draft written. I’ve been a bit ambivalent about the novel, to be honest, but I’m feeling it again now.
I also have a title for the vampire novel brewing in my mind – Requiem. And my two major characters have names. Now I just need to work out what they actually want me to write about them. It’s refreshing, actually, to be planning one novel and writing another at the same time.
I also spent a little time going over some old work. I suck at writing sci-fi. I suck at writing anything that isn’t character based. Good to know those things, so I can move on to what I’m good at.
