A surprisingly productive day today. That word count brought me to the end of chapter seven, which pleases me. The men in the basment earned their keep, too, linking together two seemingly random events in the story.
I was going to take today off from writing, since it’s a public holiday here (Anzac Day), but I found myself sitting down at the regular time with the laptop anyway. Routine is a hard thing to break.
