Equinox

A day late. but a blessed Equinox to everyone.  Yesterday was a beautiful Spring Equinox here – warm and sunny and beautiful.

Yesterday, I actually wrote – 1,500 words on Never.  The words flowed as they hadn’t the previous two days.  I wish I knew what the magic was that made the words flow.  I suspect it is something that I will never understand.  All I can do it let the words flow on the days that they will, and on the days that they don’t, focus on refilling the well.

I also managed a short walk, accompanied by Damh the Bard’s music (his cover of Worship of Trees mostly).  I’m a bit burned out on podcasts, though I did snatch time to listen to the ends of the latest episodes of The Coode Street Podcast and Galactic Suburbia.

Last night, we watched Your Highness.  All I will say about that movie is this: why on earth was Natalie Portman in it?  Surely she must have read the script and cringed.

A photo for the day

The bookcase I see directly to my right.

This photo reminds me that I still need to organise my books properly.  This shelf has become mostly anthologies and collections, many of which are part of my to-be-read pile/stack/mountain.  Books stacked in front are those I have to read for the various book clubs and podcasts I’m keeping up with.
