I’m getting there slowly but surely. I did end up going back and reworking a scene today, but it needed a few more bits and pieces added to it, mainly to link it into future scenes.
Writing today was out of the usual routine. It’s nice to know that I can write in a different environment and away from the usual places. All hail the laptop. It’s not only good for comfort, but it’s good for portability. I am deeply envious of people who live in cities with coffee shops where they can go and work. The best I could do here is to go to a park, where of course there would be no internet. Perish the thought.
Speaking of internet, we’ve managed to use up our quota again this month, and are thus shaped at home. Thankfully it’ll reset tomorrow night, so things will be back to normal again. Until we move and have to deal with getting the net disconnected and reconnected, which will hopefully be fast and painless. Probably not, though, judging by other people’s experiences with moving. Either way, I’m counting down the days. I’m so looking forward to having more space, a decent kitchen and a good garden. Bliss.
