Glad to get word count today. I’m tired, and the usual Monday house cleaning took longer than it should have. I blame it on having sore muscles from gardening on the weekend.

Spent the writing time today rewriting Friday’s words. I like working like this - writing both first and second draft simultaneously. It works for me, anyway. Gives me a chance to sketch a scene and then go back and fine tune it. Especially on a Monday, where it serves to get me back into the story.

I’m still enjoying this book, but I really want to end this draft now. I still have a way to go, though. The only solution to that is to start getting my daily word counts back up.
