Today’s progress:

Project: Shaede draft four and a bit
New words: 2,898
Total word count: 54,133
Goal: 85,000 words (or thereabouts)

Writing: Astonishingly good, especially since I was coming off the tail end of a migraine.  Kind of in awe at my brain right now, frankly.  Sometimes it earns its keep.

Real life: Migraine last night.  For the first time in forever, I elected not to take painkillers (though I did take a small dose of a sedative antihistamine) and try to sleep it off.  Woke up with the headache still this morning, though it was duller.  Aromatherapy and shower were put to use, and the rest of the pain faded.  I’m still feeling a bit out of it, and my neck and back are stiff, but I can cope with that.  I’ve been gentle with myself today as a result, and I think the human suit is appreciating it.
