2. alice in wonderland
I've always loved the idea of worlds lying beyond this one (which is reflected a lot in my own writing). I think the Alice books were amongst the first exposure that I had to the idea.
3. vampires
I'm not quite so obsessed with vampires as I used to be. Though I still have a fondness, and will probably indulge in writing a vampire book or two at some stage. Weres don't do it for me usually (for all that I'm writing about shapeshifters right now).
5. tuxedo cats
I have always loved tuxedo cats. Getting Jilly was an absolute bonus - I was prepared to get any cat we loved, and it was awesome that she was a fluffy tuxedo :)

1. Gentle
I love the gentleness in nature, especially since it's such a contrast to the violence that she can hold. Look to the sea - gentleness is leashed power. I think there is more that can be accomplished by gentle means than violent.
2. Mystery
My favourite word. There is so much mystery and wonder in this world. In every person, in every moment, there are so many hidden things. I am a seeker, and I will never stop searching for the mysteries.
4. Natural beauty
I'm going to be upfront and state that I am a major fan for cosmetics. I don't like the way I look without makeup, and I don't like my natural hair colour. I fix that using the most natural ways I can find - henna for my hair and mostly mineral makeup. It's much better for me, in every way.
5. Seeker of meaning
I cannot cope with the idea that life has no meaning. It just doesn't make any sense to me for this all to be random. Even if that meaning is the universe finding order. There has to be something, or what's the point?

Biology
The human body has, and always will, fascinate me. I was poring through books on biology before I was ten years old, and always intended on being a medical doctor. It still fascinates me, for all that I'm glad that I don't work in science any more.
Jewelry
I'm a fan of the shinies. Being able to make them is a bonus, for it means that I get stuff cheaply :) I really, really love making random shinies for people - I love making them pieces that sing their spirit, and it makes me smile to see them enjoying them.
