Writing:

And that’s the end of this draft.  I really rushed through the end, mostly because I’m sick of this draft and I want to start working on edits.  And because I know that the ending is going to need a lot of work, all of which requires me to go back and fix previous sections.

So.  The word count updates will likely cease for a few days while I work on character outlines and the actual story outline properly.  Hopefully I can get most of that work done fairly quickly so I can get into the meat of editing.  Which should hopefully go pretty quickly, since I know what I need to fix.

Real life:

My groove has been thrown off by an ill-timed doctor’s appointment this morning.  Still, it went well, and I went out and did grocery shopping afterwards.  Writing time was late, therefore, and rushed.  And I feel kind of brain dead now and tired from the amount of physical activity I’ve done today.  Hopefully this means that I’ll sleep well tonight.
