Project: White Raven draft two

Writing:

Today’s word count should have been higher, but I was distracted by some real life stuff.  Eh, it happens, and I still got 2k written.  I had to spend a chunk of time figuring out what I needed to change in this next chapter, as well, which involved slicing out at least 1k of words from the last draft.

I’m also getting the sneaking suspicion that one of my secondary characters might be extraneous.  We’ll see, though.  I hate having to cut characters, but sometimes it had to be done.

Real life:

Went and picked up some stuff from the grocer and chemist.  Did some family stuff.

I’ve been back catching up on review reading this week and hoping that I can knock off the current review book today or tomorrow.  I really need to go out for a quick walk before I settle down to any more reading first, though.  The back is not happy with inactivity today.
