Today’s progress:

Project: White Raven draft two

Goal: 100k

Writing:

Not a bad day.  I’m at the point now in this draft where I’m throwing out several chapters from the first draft, so I’m feeling like I’m floundering a bit without any kind of template to work from.  I’m expecting a bit of writing and rewriting will be needed in order to get this next part to flow well.  And that’s totally okay.

Real life:

More medical stuff took up my morning (with the bonus that I got a stack of reading done while wasting time in a waiting room).  I expected today’s writing session to be useless, but it wasn’t too bad – my concentration is only just starting to flag badly now, which means that I need to step away from the screen.

I’ll go for a walk shortly and then get even more reading in, I think.  Yes, my days are pretty much the same every day – I like it like that

Beauty:

Noticing that two bushes in the front garden have exploded into bloom over the last few days without me noticing.  Despite the rain forecast for the next little while, it definitely appears to be spring, if one looks at the garden.
