Today’s progress:

Project: White Raven draft two

Writing:

Spent today struggling with some difficult scenes.  I’m actually unsure as to whether these scenes will even stay in this draft or not, but I want to get them hashed out properly anyway, since they’re of importance to the story.  Still, they’ve been driving me a little crazy.  I think I have them more or less sorted now.  Hopefully.

Real life:

Went and picked up some groceries for dinner tonight and popped into the health food store.  Where I bit my tongue a lot at the lies that a girl selling a new brand of makeup was spinning.  Man, I hate marketing in a huge way.

Also read some slush, and will go for a walk in a few, despite it being very grey and gloomy outside right now.  I didn’t walk yesterday due to being a bit unwell, and I felt it last night in bad sleep and back pain.  Then it will be time to catch up some reading.

Beauty:

A very rare appearance by the kitty cat on the bed this morning.  It’s a small thing, but she’s a pretty independent cat at night – she doesn’t sleep on the bed (or in the bedroom, really), so it’s nice when she hops on and snuggles a bit.
