Writing:
80k! That word count is creeping up slowly. I’m still not really sure as to how long this draft is going to end up being. For now, I’ll leave my goal at 100k.
Not a bad writing day. Had a really good first writing session, then broke for lunch and to talk to a plumber. Came back to it afterwards, but couldn’t quite get that groove back. Still, I managed a decent amount of words for the day, so I’m not complaining. I’ll be writing more, but my back is screaming at me and I really need to get out for a walk.
Real life:
Errands this morning, namely going and filling prescriptions (such fun). Also spoke to a plumber about what we’re going to do about our old and dying hot water system. Will go for a much-needed walk after I post this.
Beauty:
It’s finally stopped raining. Winter has dragged on very late this year, and right now it kind of feels like it’s been raining forever. Today, it’s cleared up and from where I sit right now, all I can see is blue sky. I think we’re supposed to get showers for the next few days still, and then it will be clear afterwards. And actually kind of warm on the weekend.
And yes, I’ll be complaining about the heat soon enough. I do that
