Writing:
I’m eyeing my word count and wondering if I can actually wrap this all up within 100k. I hope so – I don’t want to go much above that word count. Though there’s likely a good deal of tightening I can do on the next pass through the draft, so I’ll not worry about it overmuch.
Real life:
Grocery shopping and walk already accomplished. Which is good thing, since the weather is looking a bit grey and windy outside at the moment.
Hopefully this afternoon I can polish off the current book I’m reading for review purposes, which means that I can write up the review tomorrow. I have slush to read, too, but that’ll have to wait until tomorrow as well, I think.
Beauty:
Being able to feel the days lengthening. It’s getting lighter in the mornings, which means that I’m also waking up earlier. I really wish I was the kind of person who could wake up before the sunrise every day. Maybe one day.
