Today’s progress:

Project: White Raven draft two

Writing:

Concentration is still all over the place today.  I did manage to get some scenes sketched out – and then I realised that I need to change something in the story.  This change is going to necessitate some serious work, since I need to go back and add in a minor character.  My brain just kind of turned off at the thought of that, hence the lower word count today.

This is where I envy outline writers.  If I outlined, then maybe I would have known this already.  Though, given the way my brain works when I’m writing, possibly not.

Real life:

Not much.  Yet another contractor to see today, which did interrupt my flow this afternoon.  I seem to be having really good luck with contractors lately – they’ve all been really nice people.  Makes it much easier to have them around the house.

Spent a good chunk of this morning feeling under the weather – went to bed really sore and tired last night and woke in much the same state.  Will go for a gentle walk soon to see if it helps with the sore part, and hope that I sleep better tonight.

The last few days I’ve had a bad case of the don’t wannas in general.  I can’t seem to settle to do anything much at all, which is driving me a bit crazy.  I can handle the reluctance to write (or do housework or whatever) – I just hate it when I can’t/won’t settle to do anything at all.
