2011 Book Clubs: Women of SF and Women of Fantasy

Thanks to a conversation on Twitter, I was alerted to the existence of two book clubs – Women of Science Fiction and Women of Fantasy.

I am going to take part in both of them.  Some of the books I’ve read, and others I’ve been meaning to read for a long time.

Join me?

Am cautiously interested - timing may be an issue for me, but I love the idea.

I too, am interested. I am thinking of sending the list to Fantastic Planet, to give them a heads up that these would be good books to put aside for me, if they can get hold of them.

Would it be a reasonable thing, if enough people are interested, to try and organise a face to face discussion?

Cool!

I've managed to source quite a few, and ordered most of the rest (if I do it now, I'll remember). A few of them are very close to being out of stock in the warehouses. Elaine at Fantastic Planet is ordering quite a lot of them for me, so if you get in touch, she will be able to give you some idea as to which ones are going to be hard to get hold of.

I've also pointed my (mostly) defunct bookclub group at it, so hopefully there will be others reading them as well.
