I’ve made a decision. I’m going to put Borderline on the backburner for the time being.
Why? Because for some unknown reason (maybe the planets are in alignment), I feel that the time is right to work on revisions to Shaede.
Which, by the way, collected another form rejection during the week. I still have queries out at three agents and an invitation to re-submit an edited manuscript.
I had a quick look at the first chapter this evening, and immediately saw at least a dozen small things to change. It’s been a while since I’ve looked at the manuscript at all; I think enough time has passed that I can prune it ruthlessly.
My target for words per week is going to be 10k. I’m going to start counting words per week rather than per individual day, since that gives me more flexibility for bad health days.
