Moving at a snail's pace

My brain hasn’t been in a good writing space the last few days. Probably because I’ve been spending my mornings running errands, which tires me out more than it should. Stupid autoimmune disease.

Anyway, progress on A Sound of Wings:

yesterday – 1,844 words, today 1,033 words

I’m trying to not push things and just write to whatever feels comfortable. So long as that’s over 1k. I admit, I love churning out 2k a day, but I find that difficult when working on short pieces.

I may need to take a few days away from creativity to catch up on other work. I still have a stack of agent queries to send out and reviews are beginning to pile up again. Not to mention that, in a fit of enthusiasm, I rejoined Critters. No idea if I’m going to be able to manage that or not.
