Word count for last week: 18,519

Six days work, averages out to just above 3,000 words per day.

So I’m hitting the 3k mark consistently.  Which of course has me wondering if I could do 4k.  I’m a glutton for punishment.  This part is pretty easy going, though – I’m rewriting some chunks, but most of it is being transferred more or less from the last draft.  Things will get tougher when I hit the last third, which is going to be almost all new stuff.

I haven’t been reading much the last week, something that I should work on.  I’ve been sucked into internet research for non-book things, which is fun, but doesn’t help when it comes to filling up the word bank.  I need to be stricter with my internet use during the day, I think.
