It's only forever, not long at all

The weather is conspiring against me. Pain levels are still high, compounded by the fact that I can’t get out and walk. It’s actually been mostly windy today, though there was some terrific rain last night. During which rain the roof started to leak again. Sigh. The roof guys are supposed to be coming out to look at it again, gods only know when though.

Today’s progress:

Project: Shaede draft four
New words: 3,612
Total word count: 38,233
Goal: 100,000 words (or thereabouts)

Writing: Eleven chapters down. I think the final manuscript will probably end up being closer to 80k than 100k, we’ll see, though.

Real life: Not a lot. Caught up on some bits and pieces of other work I’ve been putting off.

Total words for 2008: 321,132
