Don't tell me truth hurts

Raining again today. Which means that it’s been a lovely afternoon to be inside with a nice warm laptop and a cup of tea. Holy productive day, too. If only all days were like this.

Today’s progress:

Project: Shaede draft four

Goal: 100,000 words (or thereabouts)

Writing: Twelve chapters down. This chapter was fun, since it took the book to one of the more interesting parts of the Crossing. I feel the need to write some short pieces set in this part of the city. Hm.

Real life: Groceries obtained, including a herculean assortment of fresh vegetables. I’m all enthused about cooking at the moment for some unknown reason. Not complaining, mind you. Also managed a walk this morning, which was bliss (even though I did get half soaked from the rain), and did a load of laundry that will take about four days to dry.
