Grr argh

And it’s stepping backwards again. I am seriously not happy with the last two chapters I’ve been working on, so I’m going back to get them right.

Didn’t manage to meet my goal of editing a full chapter today, due to this cold. I ws feeling okayish for most of the day, but now I’m starting to feel a bit like hell. I don’t trust my brain enough right now to keep on writing, even though I really, really want to keep on pushing forward. Grr.

Anyway. I did get a decent word count. And I’ll get the end of this chapter sorted out tomorrow, even if I don’t get anything else done. Hopefully the immune system will kick in a bit and let me work.

Today’s progress:

Project: Shaede draft four
New words: 3,311
Total word count: 49,718
Goal: 100,000 words (or thereabouts)

Writing: Got the first half of this chapter sorted out, which makes me happy. Something had been bugging me about it, and I figured out what it is and fixed it. Now I just need to fix the next part.

Real life: Went grocery shopping, did a tiny bit of gardening (I’m trying to get something done in the garden every day when it’s fine, since it’s been neglected for most of winter).

Total words for 2008: 345,063
