Project: White Raven draft one

Writing:

Kind of a slow, scattered day.  I’m really not a fan of writing first drafts - as my betas can no doubt attest, my initial writing is clunky, and I tend to reuse a lot of phrases as I sketch things out.  I really like crafting the story, and I love editing it into something that reads well.  It’s a good argument for me churning out first draft, really.

I find myself scratching my head as to how I’m going to resolve a plot thread now, too.  Hopefully it’ll work itself out somewhere along the day.

Real life:

Not much.  Did some minor grocery shopping, made some medical appointments (which seem to be taking over my near future).  Will do some more review reading, and then maybe find some time for some fun reading as well.
