Project: White Raven draft one

Writing:

Today didn’t feel quite so much as flailing.  But this first draft is very, very bare bones.  I’m really looking forward to being able to come back and edit and flesh it out properly.  I just need to finish the first draft first.  My inner editor is not pleased at having to wait.

Real life:

It’s been stormy all day again (thankfully, again, we’re in the part of the city that didn’t lose power at all, so I’ve been able to work still).  I did manage to henna my hair (totally not fun in cool weather) and did a couple of loads of laundry.  Which will take forever to dry indoors.  I need to remember to buy another drying rack.  Or just bite the bullet and beg the husband for a dryer to use on days like this.

I’ve been really scatty the last few days.  Have been writing, but haven’t been reading at all.  I need to stop that before it becomes a habit, and get back to reading at least a bit every day.
