Writing:

Not a great day, but an okay one.  Worked out some problems with a scene that I’ve been working on.  I feel like I’m flailing right now, and making a grand old mess of the book.  But there has to be a mess before it can be cleaned up, I guess.

Real life:

Back is really sore today, thanks to the storm that finally rolled in.  I have one muscle that knots up in a specific place below my ribs, and it doesn’t ever want to release, even with massage and heat.  It’s made it very difficult to concentrate.

I did manage a short walk this morning, and did the weekly grocery shopping.  Excitement.
