Project: White Raven draft one

Writing:

I remember reading once in a how-t0 books of writing novels that minor characters will save you.  Mine certainly have, finding me a nice little way out of the corner I wrote myself into yesterday.  I am most pleased.

I still have two major plot threads that I’m not sure how I’m going to resolve right now, but I’m sure that the men in the basement will find a way.

I’m really enjoying just motoring through these chapters now, and looking forward to when I get to go back and edit it all and make it pretty.  Right now, it’s all just very bare bones.  I pity my beta readers, champions they are for putting up with my first draft crap

Real life:

Did some quick grocery shopping this morning.  My schedule is thrown off today by a doctor’s appointment in the middle of the afternoon, so I had to move up my regular writing time.  I’m pleased that I still managed to get a good chunk of work done.
