Project: White Raven draft one

Writing:

The end of the book is so close now, I can almost touch it.  I’m thinking another chapter or two, and then it’ll be done.  The last few chapters are really rough, and are going to need a lot of editing, but the basics of the story are there.

My editing brain is already working in the background.  I have a few parts of the story that I need to move, and stuff that needs to be expanded.  It’s going to keep me occupied for some time, I think.  Hopefully while I’m editing, I can start doing some serious outlining work for Never,  since that story is refusing to leave my head.  I also have some beta reading to do for some friends, which I have sorely neglected.

Real life:

Not much.  Did a tiny bit of grocery shopping so we have fresh veg in the house.  Listened to stomping on the roof again.  Last day of the major roof works today – huzzah, we have an intact, non-sagging, shiny roof!
