Project: White Raven draft two

Writing:

Not the best writing day, thanks to medical tests this morning that thoroughly destroyed my concentration this afternoon.  I struggled a lot with a couple of emotional scenes – not sure if I’ve nailed them yet or not.  Will need to step back from them for a couple of days before I can figure them out properly, I think.

This is when writing gets hard – when the natural flow isn’t there and I just want to sack out in front of the television and watch drivel.  But yanno, I’ve committed to this as a job, and therefore if I’m not sick, I work.  My concentration was crap, but I made myself sit down and get to 2k words.  Which hopefully don’t totally suck

Real life:

Ran a couple of quick errands this morning.  Most of my morning was taken up with medical stuff, which was tremendously fun…not.  But it could have been worse, so I shan’t complain overmuch.

Will go for a short walk in a few, and try to finish the review reading I have to do.

Beauty:

It’s the first day of spring today.  Though it doesn’t look or feel like it right now – it’s cloudy and windy and threatening rain.  Still, rain is a very good thing here.
