azhure: (dreaming tree)

Yesterday…was.  That’s pretty much all I can say about it.

Woke up with a sore throat, aching all over and generally feeling like crap.  My immune system seems to be taking a hell of a beating this year.  Thankfully, this cold doesn’t seem to be too bad – I just generally feel exhausted, feverish and a bit cruddy.  Despite only having a massage last weekend, my muscles in my neck and shoulders have knotted up badly again, to the point where the pain was waking me up last night.  Stupid human suit.

Somehow, I did manage to get some writing done yesterday.  Not a lot – only 1,100 words – but it’s better than nothing.  I should probably try to snatch some writing time over the weekend to make up for a bad week, but I don’t know if my brain is going to be clear enough.  Right now, all I want to do is play LOTRO for hours and hours.  Not that sitting at the computer will help my muscles at all, though.

Some reading yesterday, too, though it was scattered.  I picked up a review book, only to realise that I hadn’t read the book before it in the series.  Had that on the shelf and read about half of it instead.   And then randomly picked up Game of Thrones in the evening to read a bit as well.

And now, weekend.  I am meandering through some housework, and I suspect that I’ll be going from one thing to another for the next two days because my concentration is shot.  We were supposed to have writing group tonight, but that’s been rescheduled because I would be next to useless.

Kind of hating on my immune system right now.  The annoying thing is that I can’t actively work on boosting it, since it then boosts all of the autoimmune stuff as well.  Arthritis in my shoulders is currently kicking my arse something awful as it is.
