Rain rain, go away

Today it has rained solidly pretty much all day. Which in theory should have made for good writing, but I found my concentration lacking today. I need to work on my writing routine, I think. As it stands, I get at least an hour of work done, break for lunch and some noodling about online, then get in another session of writing. The second session is the one where my concentration suffers. I suspect it’s the online wandering that’s doing it. Might be time to do something else while I eat lunch.

Today’s progress:

Project: Shaede draft four
New words: 2,885
Total word count: 9,215
Goal: 100,000 words (or thereabouts)

Writing: Three chapters done now. Though I may go back and fiddle with the third chapter a bit again later on tonight or tomorrow. I’m still taking stuff out, and being fairly ruthless with it. Just need to make sure that I don’t cut too much out.

Real life: Not much really accomplished today. Went out this morning and picked up prescriptions and the like. Did some meditation this afternoon as well. Tried to ignore a pain flare from the damp weather.
