Today’s progress:

Project: White Raven draft two

Writing:

Those paying close attention will notice not much forward motion in terms of the whole draft again today.  You’ve guessed it already that I spent today working on the same chapter.  Yet again.  I’m pretty certain that I’ve nailed these scenes now, though, so tomorrow will be moving on.  I’d rather spend a couple of extra days on this draft and get these chapters as good as I can in this pass, than have to write more drafts down the track.

Real life:

Grocery shopping and a walk already accomplished.  I really like walking in the morning, and really should make an effort to haul myself out of bed earlier in order to do so.  But then again, I like walking in the late evening as well.  Hell, I just like getting out walking.  I don’t know if I’m going to be able to keep it up when the weather gets warm, though.  We’ll see.Beauty:

Smiling at little kids while shopping.  Almost without fail, they stare back at you, as if unsure as to whether they should do anything back or not.  Every once in a while, one just cracks into a huge grin.  I envy kids who are like that, since I was a terribly shy kid myself.
