Today’s progress:

Project: White Raven draft two

New words: 2,429

Total words: 67,899

Goal: 100k

Writing:

Not a bad day, though I felt like I was sketching out scenes, rather than writing them properly.  At this stage of this draft, I think my overall speed forward is going to stay at a fairly slow pace.  Which is a good thing, really.  I just want to make sure that I have this draft finished within the next few months, which I think is still achievable.

Real life:

Laundry (terribly exciting, I know – and hey, there’s going to be way more of it soon!).  Also hennaed my hair, which I hadn’t done in far too long.  I’d been putting it off, since it’s pretty awkward for me to do right now, but managed okay, I think.  I don’t know if I’ve missed chunks of hair or not, though, since my hair’s still wet and up in a towel.

Oh, the glamour.  I know.

I’ll go for a walk soon, I think.  Back is demanding some proper exercise.

Beauty:

As I sit here right now, I can see pure blue sky through the roof of the sunroom and feel a light breeze on the back of my neck.  It feels and smells like spring today.  Just a shame that it’s supposed to rain for the next week now!
