Spring has gone, this is the beginning

Yesterday was a day that felt very long.

Despite still dealing with the double hit combo of fatigue and fever, I managed to clean the house.  And run around after the kidlet a fair bit.

Writing-wise, I managed almost 1,900 words on Never.  I’m in an easy section, though.  Watch me slow down in another 5k words or so.  I’m fairly happy in general with the beginning of this novel, though I do worry that it may be a little slow.  We’ll see, anyway.  I do know that I want to get this full draft written and in some kind of decent shape before sending it to betas.

I finished reading Soulless yesterday and moved promptly onto Changeless.  I have to admit, I was a bit reluctant to pick these up – in part because I’m not usually one to read lighter/funny stuff in general, and also because I know so many people who love the series.  I often find that books and series that other people have talked up end up feeling a bit flat to me.  But I have to admit, I am loving this series.  And I am seriously over urban fantasy of the werewolf/vampire kind in general.

Nothing of note watched last night.  Oh, though we did start watching a bit of Super, which looks amusing.
