I dreamed it was raining
Sep. 21st, 2011 11:25 amToday winter seems to be clutching at the world, for all that it’s almost the spring equinox. The sky is flat grey, and it’s been raining on and off all morning. I’d complain, but we need the rain. And it’s cozy being inside while listening to the rain outside, even if the kidlet gets frustrated at being inside all day.
Yesterday was a decent writing day – about 1,400 words on Never. My normal writing time was interrupted by a necessary rheumatologist visit, which saw me come home with a new medication. Hopefully it will help some with the general pain and fatigue levels. We’ll see. At the very least, apparently it may turn my sweat orange. Lovely.
I’m still making my way through Changeless, which is proving to be just as entertaining as Soulless was. I may have a tiny crush on Gail Carriger now
It was also sunny enough to go out for a walk yesterday, accompanied by the latest Galactic Suburbia episode. And the Galactic Suburbanites have now talked about Blake’s 7 enough to make me hunt it down.
We watched the rest of Super last night. Which was…unexpectedly violent but also strangely beautiful at times. I’m honestly not sure what I feel about it, though Ellen Page pretty much dominated all of her scenes.
