Yesterday was another good day.
Some human suit weirdness, still, but it was improving. I’ve pretty much given up trying to make sense of what my body does on any given day. All I try to do is rest if I need it, eat somewhat well and move as much as I can. And protect my sleep as much as possible. As soon as I stop sleeping well, everything goes downhill.
Good writing day yesterday, reaching almost 1,500 words on Never. I’m now in the bit that I was looking forward to expanding, so progress may begin to slow down a little.
Also a very good reading day – I managed to finish Jo Walton’s Farthing, which I was absolutely in love with. And then moved onto Walton’s Tooth and Claw. Yeah, I think I’m officially a massive Walton fan, now. I was somewhat cranky to find that the sequels to Farthing weren’t too easy to get hold of, but abebooks saved me.
And speaking of books, some shiny parcels arrived in the mail, bringing me books number two and three in Clive Barker’s Abarat series and Kathleen Ann Goonan’s This Shared Dream (the first book of which is somewhere in the mail to me, also).
Writing time has been devoured by other things this morning. Hopefully the words will flow well and I can be productive. Though I just noticed that it’s lunch time already. Where does the day go? Oh, right, I have a toddler
